Experienced Unity Gameplay Developer

Job type: Full-Time Remote/In-House Position
 

We're looking for an experienced Unity gameplay developer to join our remote team, contributing to the development of an open-world game. The ideal candidate combines strong technical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a solid understanding of Unity's ecosystem, with a strong focus on smooth and appealing gameplay mechanics.


Requirements: 

  • - Strong gameplay implementation experience, with an emphasis on rapid prototyping and user experience smoothness.
  • - Solid experience within Unity’s ecosystem (3+ years).
  • - Strong C# game development skills and understanding of common principles and patterns.
  • - Comfortable with version control systems (we use Unity Version Control / Plastic SCM).
  • - Familiarity with Unity’s Job System and performance-minded systems.
  • - Experience with Unity profiling and optimization.
  • - Proven professional experience in a similar role.
  • - Availability within ±3 hours of UTC.
  • - Open to completing a small, focused technical challenge to demonstrate problem-solving and code quality.

 

Nice to Have: 

  • - Experience with Photon Fusion 2, Netcode for GameObjects or other multiplayer/networking tools.
  • - Experience working with Unity Addressables.
  • - Experience using Shader Graph.
  • - Experience working with large, multi-layered Animators and surrounding code.
  • - Experience setting up and maintaining mechanics built around inverse kinematics (IK).
  • - Experience with custom inspectors, property drawers, and custom tooling in the Unity Editor.
  • - Experience with the High Definition Render Pipeline (HDRP).
  • - Familiarity with procedural 3D mesh generation.

 

Team Collaboration: 

  • - Effective communication skills in English, both written and spoken. (Hard requirement).
  • - Able to implement and iterate on gameplay systems while maintaining a close connection with game designers, in alignment with established technical architecture and code conventions.
  • - Experience working in small to mid-sized remote teams, or eager to adapt and grow in that environment.
  • - Demonstrates a high level of professionalism and commitment by consistently aligning work with established workflows and conventions.
  • - Follows existing architectural fundamentals and aligns new ones with the tech lead.

Unity UI Developer

Job type: Full-Time Remote/In-House Position

We're looking for an experienced UI engineer to join our distributed team and contribute to the development of an open-world solarpunk game. The ideal candidate combines strong technical skills, a collaborative mindset, and solid experience within Unity’s ecosystem.

Requirements:
  • - Solid experience within Unity’s ecosystem.
  • - Solid C# proficiency and understanding of common principles and patterns.    
  • - Experience with Unity UI, prefab workflows, and animation workflows.
  • - Experience creating and managing atlases.    
  • - Availability within ±3 hours of UTC.  
  • - Proven professional experience in a similar role.
  • - Open to completing a small, focused technical challenge to demonstrate problem-solving and code quality.

Nice to have:
  • - Experience with Unity Version Control (Plastic SCM) or other version control systems.
  • - Experience with Jira workflows for team-based environments.
  • - Understanding of ScriptableObject-based architectures.

Team Collaboration:
  • - Effective communication skills in English, both written and spoken. (Hard requirement).

Your work will include:
  • - Taking ownership of most aspects of the game’s UI.
  • - Implementing and maintaining game user interfaces based on Figma designs, including:  
    •     - Prefab creation.      
    •     - Reusable and cohesive UI components.      
    •     - Performance-aware handling of UI components, textures, sprites, etc. (dynamic vs. static canvases, raycast targets, sprite sizes, atlases, etc.).    
    •     - Integrating UIs with gameplay mechanics implemented by other developers, aiming for fully functional in-game experiences.    
  • - Fixing UI bugs reported by QA.    
  • - Creating and managing atlases through Unity’s native system.
  • - Re-implementing or rewriting existing UIs into a consolidated and cohesive structure.    
  • - Properly managing and organizing a large number of assets and prefabs using tidy and consistent practices.

PR & Marketing Manager

Job type: Full-Time / In-House Position


Crytivo is searching for an enthusiastic, dedicated, fun, and knowledgeable PR Manager to handle social media accounts and press/influencer relations. You will handle the company’s daily communication needs and help transform Crytivo’s public image. Prior experience in a PR management position is a plus, but not a requirement. Please include a resume, portfolio, or writing samples as proof of your abilities.


Responsibilities
 

  • Manage Crytivo’s social presence through social media and other communication channels.
  • Distribute press releases, promotional/marketing materials, and other documents to the desired parties.
  • Build and maintain relationships with influencers.
  • Build and maintain relationships with press and media outlets.
 

Requirements
 

  • Must be fluent in English and possess excellent communication and writing abilities.
  • Must be self-motivated and organized.
  • Must possess advanced knowledge of the gaming industry and understand the needs of the job (media needs/relationships).
  • Must be responsible and reliable.
  • Be respectful towards and capable of maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive/internal information.
