Players can choose to pursue the casual side of gaming (i.e. skilling, tending, capturing Chimera (creatures), NPC relations, house decorating etc.) or rogue-like gamers can go for thrills with "Hard Mode" … where death and monsters are very real!
Serin Fate is a super fun, adventure inspired game with immersive worlds, unique mechanics and comes fully stocked with dazzling magic and awesome characters. How you play is entirely up to you!

May brought some big changes to core systems like travel, elements and NPCs. It was a lot of behind-the-scenes coding and we’re glad to be through that phase and share some gifs of the new systems. We’re also excited to introduce 10 new Chimeras to the game!
Ten New Chimera: The first batch of 10 Nature Chimera are done: Wingluck, Nanta, Cargella, Loomis, Sporsa, Zezulu, Duraterra, Batra, Shrubite, and Totemeerie. Each creature has completed animation, eggs, portraits, stat balances & quirks, abilities, height/weight ranges, gender ratios, random item drops, favorite foods, rarities, and subclasses. They each have so much personality, we’re really excited about how they turned out!
Travel Trams: Trams will allow players to move around more quickly and easily around the map. It sure beats walking everywhere! Trams will require a tram access card.
Seven new NPC to interact with: Midtown is becoming more lively with the addition of 5 new Witches, a general shopkeeper, and blacksmith. Each new npc will help you on your way to becoming a great Witch.
Chimera Subclasses: Chimera may roll a random subclass which gives minor perks, such as gaining extra XP from battles, or giving extra stat increases upon leveling up.
Chimera Pens: Pens come in different sizes, and provide a quick overview of the Chimera you put inside them, such as food level, occupancy, and general happiness. Chimera that are happily penned will produce rare items, and in the right conditions, lay eggs!
Element changes: Elemental essence is a powerful crafting resource. We combined and re-named a few of the elements, there are now five different types: Nature, Storm, Sun, Moon, and Void.
Summary / Notes:
The ball seems to be rolling now! At this point, it feels like the game has been recoded from the ground up, but it’s for the best. The Chimera states (wild, tame, familiar) are nicely put together and ready to continue on. These next few months will see a lot more playable content, and less “behind the scenes” coding. We’re excited to show off the new content, follow Serin Fate on Discord to follow our progress!
